DSG, owned by popular streamer DisguisedToast, made headlines in the North American League of Legends scene this year. They entered the NACL after a mass departure of LCS teams and featured a mix of veterans and academy players. The team quickly captured the community’s hearts and clinched the NACL Summer split championship.

However, just a month after their historic win, DSG is parting ways with their title-winning roster. The team’s statement expressed their commitment to allowing the players to pursue LCS opportunities freely, as the LCS teams prepare for the next season. DisguisedToast explained that as an NACL team, there’s currently no clear pathway for players to move up to the LCS while staying with the team. He encouraged LCS teams to give them a chance.
