BetBoom, in collaboration with tournament organizer FISSURE, has exciting news for Dota 2 fans! They have recently revealed the much-anticipated BetBoom Dacha tournament, featuring an impressive prize pool of $250,000 (~£196,000).

The event kicks off on August 7th with the online segment, followed by the highly anticipated LAN tournament scheduled for September. The lineup of invited LAN teams promises to be a fierce competition, including renowned teams like Team Spirit, the victors of Riyadh Masters, the Bali Major champions, Gaimin Gladiators, and the formidable fourth-placed team from The International 2022, Team Aster.

Dota 2 enthusiasts are in for a treat as this thrilling event is set to showcase the best of the best, delivering top-tier competitive action and unforgettable moments on the battleground. Mark your calendars and get ready to witness the ultimate showdown at BetBoom Dacha!

Here’s the format:

  • Fifteen invited teams
    • Eight teams are seeded into online stage
    • Seven teams are seeded into LAN stage
  • Online Stage 
    • Dates: August 7 – August 13, 2023
    • Play-In:
      • Two double-elimination (GSL) groups of four teams each
      • All matches are Bo3
      • Two teams from each group will advance
    • Decider:
      • Double-elimination bracket
      • Grand Final is Bo5, all other matches are Bo3
      • Winner advance to the LAN stage
  • LAN Stage
    • Dates: September 10 – September 16, 2023
    • Group Stage
      • Two round-robin groups of four teams each
      • All matches are Bo2
      • Top two teams of each group are seeded into the Upper Bracket of Playoffs
      • 3rd place team of each group are seeded into the Lower Bracket of Playoffs
      • Bottom team of each group is eliminated
    • Playoffs
      • Double-elimination bracket
      • Grand Final is Bo5, all other matches are Bo3

Prizing

1st: $150,000

2nd: $62,500

3rd: $25,000

4th: $12,500
