Last week, G2Esports showed their dominance, earning a spot to play off for the League of Legends EMEA Championship with a victory against Team BDS. During the match, the team demonstrated excellent communication and coordination during the team fights, kept the gold, and kills differences.

The first match started off interesting. Yike, with Ivern made the difference with early ganks in the bot lane, giving Hans Samma and Mikyx, Kai’sa and Rell, a Great advantage against the enemy bot lane. But that wasn’t the only play that G2 Esports made; Kai’sa was defending the bottom turret, and the BDS team decided to dive her, but with the skills of Hans Sama and the support of the teams, G2 was able to turn over the tive, giving Caps with Lucian a huge advantage.

During the second Dragon, the spotlight was on Mikyx. He flashed in the middle of the enemy team and taunted them all, making the play of the game. They they loosed the hextech drake but won the team fight and the game.

Caps end the match with a Pentakill

G2 is well known for their unique composition, and on this, both matches were not the exception. For the second match, Caps select another ADC, in this case Tristana. Throughout the match, his position during the teamfights allowed him to make damage in a safe spot, reseting the jump every time that he killed. At the end, his score was 12/2/2, but not only that, he made a pentakill, or can we say hexakill? What do you think?

Their next game will be against Excel Esports, which has a record of 5 wins and 4 losses during the split. The game will be on July 24th, and the winner will pass directly to the final. You can watch on LOL Esports, YouTube, or Twitch.
