From September 28 to October 1 in the Mattamy Athletic Centre, the Overwatch playoffs and grand final will take place in Toronto, a city famed for its vibrant and colorful culture and ardent sports fans. The world’s best players and passionate fans will come together to celebrate the pinnacle of professional gaming at the conclusion of tough competition.
During the playoff phase eight teams, three from the east area and five from the west area will be divided into two parallel double elimination brackets. The grand final brackets will have two teams from each group.
Toronto Defiant, a Canadian professional Overwatch team base in Toronto will be the co-host of this event. additionally of the trophy and the championship title, the price pool is $1.8 millon, where the first place will get US$1,000,000.
