Team Vitality is embarking on a major overhaul of its LEC roster in preparation for the 2024 League of Legends EMEA Championship season. As part of this transformation, they have bid farewell to Luka “Perkz” Perković, a renowned mid laner in the region who is now a free agent. Perkz joined Vitality in 2021, but despite high expectations, the team struggled to reach their potential. While they had moments of success, particularly during the Winter Split, their performance fluctuated. Perkz, however, remained a central figure in the team.

This decision to part ways with Perkz marks the beginning of a significant roster restructuring for Team Vitality, as they aim to improve their standing in the competitive LEC scene. Perkz’s availability as a veteran mid laner with international experience is expected to attract interest from other teams seeking to bolster their rosters, not only for his mechanical skill but also for his leadership qualities.
The official off-season for the League’s competitive scene typically begins in December after the World Championship concludes. With various teams already allowing their players to explore new opportunities and the anticipation of the 2024 LEC season, fans are already getting excited about the upcoming changes in the esports landscape.
