
The most important Esports event is coming. The League of Legends World Championship 2023 will be played this year in South Korea, and here is the schedule by phase.
Play-In Stage
From October 10 to 15 at LoL Park in Seoul. Eight teams will split into two groups of four and play in a double elimination bracket to earn a spot in the next stage. Those teams are from:
- Pacific Championship Series (PCS): 2 teams
- Vietnam Championship Series (VCS): 2 teams
- League of Legends Japan League (LJL): 1 team
- Campeonato Brasileiro de League of Legends (CBLoL): 1 team
- Liga Latinoamérica (LLA): 1 team
- Worlds Qualifying Series match between LEC and LCS: 1 team

Swiss Stage
From October 19–23 at KBS Arena in Seoul and October 26–29 at Sajik Arena in Busan. 16 teams in a round-robin format will be playing each other, and only 8 teams will advance to the next stage.

Knockout Stage
- Quarterfinals: From November 2 to 5 at Sajik Arena in Busan
- Semifinals: In November 11 and 12, at the Sajik Indoor Gymnasium in Busan.
Final
On November 19, at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul, the grand final of the League of Legends World Championship will be played. where the prize pool is expected to be between $2.25 million and $3 million for the winning team!
